Colorado Chapter received GOLD Award for 2020!

The IIBEC Colorado Chapter is pleased to announce our achievement of a GOLD ranking in the IIBEC Outstanding Chapter Award Program for work completed in 2020!  Achieving a Gold ranking after all of the challenges of last year is no small task, and we sincerely appreciate all of the time and effort you and your volunteers have committed to this accomplishment. If you attended an education event or the golf outing, donated time or money to our scholarship program efforts, contributed sponsorships, or presented as a speaker – we thank you! YOU are what makes us an outstanding chapter!

Virtual Educational Offerings a Success!

The Colorado Chapter hosted a 3rd quarter virtual education session, Cold Applied BUR presented by Vincent Martinez of Western Colloid and Kelly Sitzer of CIG Construction, on November 18, 2020. A 4th quarter virtual education session, Vertical Wall Solutions presented by Danielle Hancock of Rocky Mountain Reps and Chuck Bundrick of Dryvit, was hosted on December 1, 2020. While we miss in-person education events and networking, the virtual Zoom format has allowed us to provide quality education from excellent presenters which engage the attendees and support chapter goals. The combined events offered 5.5 CEUs and AIA LUs to encourage continuing education and support our members in obtaining or maintaining their registrations.

 

IIBEC Colorado Chapter co-hosts seminar with CRA and NRCA, 2nd quarter 2019

On Wednesday April 24, 2019, IIBEC Colorado Chapter (formerly Denver Chapter) co-hosted an educational seminar with Reid Ribble, CEO of NRCA. The program discussed NRCAs new initiative – ProCertification, provided updates on the Roofing Day in DC, and other hot topics in the roofing business such as silica testing, OSHA regulations and updated manuals.
